Caden helped me prep some apples for dehydrating yesterday. And I do use the word 'help' loosely. It took 2.5 hours to fill the first 6 trays with my helper and only 30 minutes to fill the last 3 trays after he went to bed. He insisted on being the one to turn the apple peeler/corer/slicer. Then I'd take the apple off and while I was cutting it in half he'd remove the core and put it in the trash. If I wasn't quick enough he'd point to the pile of apples and let me know that he was ready for the next 'ahk-kel' (he can say apple with a 'p' sound, but when he gets excited his speech regresses a little). The video isn't the best because he got a little distracted by the camera, but I still thought it was worth posting.Wednesday, July 1, 2009
