All Tucked In

In anticipation of moving Caden to a big boy bed sometime in the next few months we've been working with him on the concept of how a bed works. We have a blanket folded up to simulate a pillow, and he's been using that for a few weeks now. We've introduced him to the idea of sheets on our bed, and the other night as Ryan was putting him down he decided it was time to show Caden that he has sheets in his bed as well. He told kiddo he would tuck him into bed, helped him lay down, then spread his comforter over him. Caden just grinned back at him so cute Ryan couldn't resist taking a picture. When we went in an hour later to check on him the sheet had been kicked off, but its a start.

Update: I wrote this post nearly a week ago. Since then every night that I've gone in to check on Caden he has pulled his blanket over him like a sheet. Its so cute to see him growing up!
