Monday was a big day for us. Caden and I got snow stranded in Murray (my intention was to drop him off and go to work in Provo), so we bundled up the kids and attempted to go see the elves at Gardner Village. Just as we got there it started to snow again, so our elf hunting expedition was short lived. After nap time, we bundled up again and Grandma and Grandpa Dodds took us to see the lights at Thanksgiving Point via a horse drawn wagon ride. Caden didn't get the memo that being bundled up was keeping him warm - he just thought he was being restricted. We had fun and the lights were worth the small entrance fee.
After the lights we hurried to Mimi's Cafe for a family dinner with the Scherbels, compliments of our future brother in law Steve. Caden enjoyed being passed around, eating his dates, and trying to get water out of a straw. Ryan and I enjoyed the nice dinner and the company. Caden was asleep before we got home, and Ryan and I weren't far behind him. It was a fun, busy day!
