Learning to fall

Learning to walk has been kind of hard for Caden. Apparently learning to fall is even harder. Yesterday he managed to take three big falls in less than 5 hours, resulting in a speckled red cheek, a skinned forehead, and a bloody nose. Today when we were out running errands he again fell, this time in the middle of the store. So with the two marks from yesterday still a little present, the gray bags under his eyes from who knows what allergy, blood dripping from his nose, and the poor baby screaming at the top of his lungs I understandably attracted a few stares. I wanted to shout "I do not beat my child!" but it just seemed futile. We left the store without making the return we went in for.

Oh no, Tiff!! That doesn't sound like very fun to me. Hopefully he'll learn to walk soon and stop falling.

I started writing you a comment, but it turned into a blog post. So, I put it on our blog.

It was all intended as a comment to you, however. So, if you want to read your comment, it is on my blog.
