A Visit to St. Nick

For Family Night we took a trip to the Riverwoods in Provo.  They were offering free carriage rides to see the lights around the mall.  The line wasn't too long and the boys loved looking at the horses.  While daddy waited in line, the older boys played tag with some of the other kids.  Its so fun to see kids make instant friends with anyone who is around.  After the carriage ride we saw the Santa only had a 2-3 kids in line, so we took advantage of the opportunity to pass on the boys' wish lists.

Caden asked for a race car like the one he broke (a 1:24 replica car).  He even had the wheel from the old car that he's been carrying around for reference: "I want a race car with a wheel like this."  He also asked for a 3 wheel monster truck pulling a picnic basket.  You should have seen Santa's face when he heard that request!

Eric originally asked for a 'toy,' but upon further prodding when with 'a boat.'  Eric would only sit on Santa's lap with Caden, and Kyle was too busy looking at the lights and fires to care to sit on a stranger's lap.
