Bright and early Thursday morning I got a phone call, and the bubbly voice on the other end exclaimed, "Welcome to Denver!" Stacy, the out of town patient coordinator for the Denver Children's Hospital, is my new best friend for the week. She is taking amazing care of us while we are here for the one week out of state program at the Eosinophilic Disorder Clinic.
We met with the doctors yesterday and they amended our itinerary, cancelling some tests and adding in others. I feel the new schedule will be much more productive. Today was procedure day and Caden did well. He was nervous and cried quite a bit, but happied up once we got back to the hotel. The doctor learned useful information from this morning's procedure, and we'll know even more after the biopsies get back on Wednesday. Caden bled more than usual, so the surgery lasted longer than expected, but they think they got the bleeding under control. We have down time for the next few days, then Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are packed full.
