Bili Boy

Kyle has some mild jaundice. After 5 days of sunbaths and daily blood draws, Kyle finally went over the line and and the pediatrician ordered a bili blanket. I'm not sure why they call it a blanket, because it really looks more like a paddle. We put it under his clothes, giving the boy this healthy blue glow. He actually seems to like the warmth of the lights and had his best night of sleep yet. We are crossing our fingers that the blood test on Monday shows his numbers improved enough we can be done with the lights and the tests.
