Caden's spot on his face mostly cleared up, so we went ahead and entered him into the baby contest. This picture portrays fairly well how it went. While we were waiting for our turn to be judged he did fairly well smiling at strangers and giggling with his toys, but as soon as we got to the judges he just started looking around. He wanted to investigate the judges' table, the canopy, the balloons. Pretty much he looked at everything except for Miss American Fork (our designated judge). He didn't flash his million dollar smile, so I'm pretty sure he didn't win. The winners were announced two hours after Caden's age division was judged and we didn't hang around. They said they'd call us if he won. So far the phone has been silent. It was pretty entertaining to see all the kids and moms. Some of them had gone all out with costumes and everything.
