Today Caden gave his first oral report. He did an amazing job. He worked hard for a full week preparing - picking an animal, drawing a picture of it, checking out library books on the topic, selecting five facts to share, writing his facts, and memorizing his presentation. I am so proud of how diligent he was to work on the project a little each day. His preparation was evident when he gave his presentation and was able to answer two of the three questions his classmates asked afterwards ("why are they black and white" stumped him, but he knew "why do they jump out of the water" and "do they live in Bear Lake too?"). The poster reads: "This is a report about whales. They blow out water. They live in the ocean. They eat fish. Blue Whales are the biggest. They have tiny teeth."
