Snow Day

Two weeks ago a miraculous thing happened - snow fell in our neck of the woods.  Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but this year its looking like that was our one and only snowstorm for the winter.  We'd had flurries most of the day, but late in the afternoon the snow started to stick, and the boys got excited.  Even though it was late I didn't have the heart to put them to bed without letting them play in it; I wasn't confident it would still be there the next morning.  So we spent 45 minutes tracking down the snow clothes and bundling up.  We lasted about 15 minutes outside (it was a really wet, really cold snow), then had family night in front of the fire place while we all thawed out.  You can tell Eric is a snow-rookie.  He tried riding first his bike, then his scooter in it.
