We went to the State Fair this year on September 17. I'm just now getting around to blogging about it. Caden's favorite animals this year were the chickens. I think he's still a little intimidated by the massing of the bigger animals. Aunt Kellie spoiled Caden by riding the carnival kiddie roller coaster with him.
We did the Little Hands of the Farm exhibit again, like we have in the past. Eric loved 'planting his seed' in the sandbox and stayed there for a bit while Caden finished the rest of the activities.
Eric's favorite part of the adventure was the apple he 'earned' by completing his chores at Little Hands on the Farm. No one was separating that boy from his treat.
Then Grandpa Dodds sprung for a ride down the giant slide. It was my first time, and I loved it! The boys were pretty impressed, too. I love that we've made going to the Fair a fun family tradition.
