I heard about a free Easter egg hunt at the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center. I figured water and food don't mix, so I loaded Caden up and off we went. Since Daddy looked like a leper (allergy rash) he got sent home from work and was able to come serve as camera man for the adventure. Grandma Dodds had been previously requisitioned to be the official sideline entertainment for Eric. Caden was a little unsure about what he was supposed to be doing, so it was a good thing we'd gone around to the back side of the pool away from most of the kids.
After the eggs were gathered they let the kids stay and swim for an hour. I figured Caden would last about 30 minutes. As it turned out, he was the last child out of the swimming pool at the end of the hour and I drug him out kicking and screaming. See that smile on his face? It was permanently plastered there the entire time.
We did convince Caden to get out of the pool long enough to take a picture with the Easter Bunny. He didn't understand what the big deal was. Neither did Eric. At least we have proof the whole family attended.
