The Parable of the Mountain

December was kind of a long month for me, full of me feeling pretty sorry for myself and some of the trials we are facing as family. I know we are very blessed, and life could be so much worse, but that didn't stop me from throwing regular pity parties. So this morning when I read the Ensign article "Making Mountains: The Parables of the Mountain Guide and the Mountain," it was just what I needed. The quote from Elder Maxwell is what pulled me in - “One’s life … cannot be both faith-filled and stress-free."
