After what seemed to be a long pregnancy and a drawn-out labor, we now have a beautiful addition to our family. Little Eric David Scherbel (as in A-Rick & David Scherbel named after both grandpas) was born to us early this morning at 5:21 a.m. We left for the hospital at 1:30 this morning and things progressed quickly, but not until after having 2 very tough days with very frequent but non-consistent contractions and literally no sleep for those 2 days.Either way, we are the proud parents of a cute little 5lb. 10 oz. bundle of joy. Everything is looking good, and all is well. (We're especially excited about the hair.)

He's BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm so glad he's here safe and sound! Enjoy that hair, take pictures of it, love it, brush it, pet it (not too much though, or it will fall out). He's so sweet, enjoy EVERY second(it goes sooooooooooooo too fast!)
