A little extra help

Its been a depressing Caden allergy week. He started reacting bad after we fed him lunch on Sunday and we assumed it was the avocado. The reaction lasted until Tuesday. Upon further trial and error testing, it looks like avocados are okay, but soy is the culprit. Investigation into the soy allergy has revealed he is likely also allergic to other foods in the legume family - peas and beans. I've always felt like he had an allergy to the peas and the only food he's ever rejected were green beans. Thinking back on the green bean rejection, it was exactly like Sunday's rejection of the avocado and soy yogurt. Last night he started rejecting the black beans he's been eating fine. The ever present sore on his cheek would indicate I am still eating something he is allergic to, and my money is on the soy since it is used as an ingredient in EVERYTHING.

The list of forbidden foods just seems to be getting longer and longer, and with each addition it gets a little more overwhelming. His contact rashes are getting worse and more frequent. He's had one every day all week and mama's nerves can't take it any more. So we are asking for a little help. On Sunday, June 29 we are going to fast for kiddo and we'd like to invite anyone who would like to join us to do so as well. His immune system is really struggling, and even if we can't get rid of (or reduce the severity of) some of the currently identified allergies, maybe we could stop things from getting worse. He currently has 5 of the top 8 most common food allergies, and we haven't really tried the other 3 (tree nuts, fish, shellfish).
